1. Through observation
①Dermis leather is the raw material of animals. There will be some irregular pores and patterns on the surface, and the texture is not repeated, so you can feel the difference when you press it with your hands. After pressing, the pores of PU leather are relatively small, the state is uniform, and the texture is relatively simple. .
②The bottom of the PU leather has a layer of textiles. The textile bottom is used to increase its tensile strength, but there is no such layer of textiles on the back of the leather.
③The touch on the back of the genuine leather is a bit moist, the texture of the rough is messy but soft, and the back of the PU leather is dry and hard to the touch.
2. Through the smell
The smell of the leather material is animal hair, strong but not pungent, and the PU leather has a pungent smell of plastic.
3. By touching
Genuine leather feels smooth. Except for leather that has been processed into coarse grain, leather is generally soft, plump and elastic. PU leather feels dry and inelastic, but the surface gloss is oily.
Fourth, through the experiment
①Observation by igniting the leather, the smell of the ignited leather is similar to the smell of the hair after being ignited, and it can be turned into powder by pinching with fingers.
②By observing the surface with water drops, the dermis will absorb the water and have a moist and soft feeling, while the PU leather is present on the epidermis, and the water can be wiped off by hand without any change on the skin.
