4. Experimental proof: ① After the genuine leather is ignited, the smell is similar to that of ignited hair, and it can be pinched into powder with your fingers; PU leather will produce a pungent smell when ignited, and will form pimples after burning. ② If you drip water on the genuine leather, the water will be quickly absorbed and it will have a moist and soft feeling; the PU leather will appear directly on the skin and can be wiped off with your hands, leaving the epidermis unchanged.
