Understand the development and use scope of PU leather
The full name of PU leather is polyurethane leather, because its main component is polyurethane, which is a synthetic material that simulates leather.
Below we will mainly understand the development and use of PU leather.
PU leather was first produced in the 1950s in the United States, Germany, Japan and other countries. With daily development, in 1979, the Guangzhou Synthetic Leather Factory in China had the first PU leather production device, followed by Yantai Taiwan. The tannery introduced a PU leather production line from Japan with an annual output of three million square meters.
Today, China has more than 40 PU leather production lines, with an annual output of 30 million square meters for dry process and 24.4 million square meters for wet process.
So where is PU leather generally suitable?
Because of its oil resistance, wear resistance, cold resistance, buckling resistance and good mechanical strength, it can be used in clothing, shoes, bags, vehicles and furniture decoration.
The above is an introduction to the development and use of PU leather.
